CCTV Benefits

For Security

  • CCTV reduces daytime crime such as shoplifting and robbery
  • CCTV deters criminals from committing burglary and vehicle crime
  • CCTV makes staff feel safe and reduces the fear of crime

Closed Circuit Television (cctv) is the most effective tool in security management and loss prevention. It has proven that having highly visible cameras covering vulnerable areas on or around your premises, reduces the opportunity to commit crime.

For Staff Management

  • CCTV can effectively monitor staff movement
  • CCTV can be used to identify employees needs
  • CCTV helps in observing good and bad practices

Who needs CCTV?

FACTORIES - To safely and remotely monitor hazardous or plant breakdown areas, monitor staff or unwelcome visitors

PUB LANDLORDS, NIGHTCLUBS AND RESTAURANTS - Can monitor trouble brewing and "the hand in the till". It could also be used to calm and restrain drunken and aggressive customers by displaying them on the pub television. It can also be used in low light situations.

RECEPTIONS AND PUBLIC AREAS - Protect both staff and customers.

AT HOME - Protect your home, vehicle and gardens.

See who is at the door? (and record direct to your VCR).

Monitor your child/ren from nasty nannies, hazardous garden waste or just sleeping/playing in the nursery.

SCHOOL PLAYGROUNDS/CLASSES - Are the children safe, do we know if the man/woman walking down the street is shopping for groceries or their next innocent victim? Be safe rather than sorry.

SHOPKEEPERS - Keep a close watch on your stockroom, shoplifters and disgruntled staff.

Covert Cameras

These can be used in place of CCTV in bedrooms, offices and even in safes.

Protect your stock and monitor your staff. Over 50% of retail crime is committed by employees, not customers. Covert cameras come complete with audio microphones if requested. These can have a range of 7m depending on conditions (i.e. noise levels).

Below you will find a few types of covert cameras, although there is many more different types. These tend to be the most commonly used.

Types of covert cameras:

  1. Smoke alarms
  2. Clock
  3. P.I.R. Detector
  4. Speaker
  5. Box files
  6. Signs

Driveway Intruder Alert?

This has to be one of the most useful alarms we have seen for a long time. It comprises of two units, a transmitter and a receiver.

The transmitter is battery operated and designed to be sited outdoors across a driveway or an area you wish to protect. The built in PIR will detect people and cars moving across in front of the detector, effective range about 6 - 7 metres.

In the event of the unit being triggered the transmitter will send a radio signal to the receiver which can be sited up to 100m away.

The receiver is also battery operated but can be used with a plug in power supply if required.

The receiver will emit a loud alarm sound for approximately 5 seconds when the transmitter is activated. It also features an LED that will remain lit until the reset button is pressed.

The transmitter size is 130 x 80 x 60 mm
The size of the receiver is 130 x 80 x40 mm

Both units are designed so as to be wall or post mounted.

The receiver is run by 3 AA batteries (250Ma) and the transmitter runs on 1 PP3 battery (25mA).

These products have been tested and providing that there is no obstructions in the line of sight, a maximum range of 100m is obtainable.

This range will change considerably if obstructions are introduced ( walls, fencing etc).

All for £50.00 this alarm can give you peace of mind and working together with a CCTV camera you can confirm who they are.
